BURLESQUE 101 6 WEEK PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
As seen in the film “A Wink And A Smile“! The famed original six-week workshop culminating in public student graduation recital. Includes weekly private lesson. Create your very own Burlesque routine! Weekly group classes will be held Mondays from 6-8 pm at Studio Blue in the Central District. Students must be available for one weekly half-hour private session beginning the second week of the session. Course fee includes six group lessons, five private lessons, class 8×10, and a two-show-in-one-night public graduation recital at the West Hall Theatre in the Oddfellows Building. Two weeks after the Recital there will be a student potluck on where you will watch the video of your performance and decompress with your fellow students. REGISTER FOR FALL!! The Fall session begins Monday September 8, with a recital on Saturday October 18th!!!
BUMP & GRIND DANCE CLASS
This basic Burlesque dance class teaches the fundamentals of classic Burlesque dance technique. Thursdays 7pm – 8:30pm, taught by Ruby Mimosa! Class open to all levels, oriented towards beginning dancers who want a fun workout! Vintage music, fun bump and grind movements, a great starter class! Drop-ins welcome, but advance registration recommended! REGISTER HERE!!! for the next full session, which runs Sept 4 – Oct 30 (Oct 9 NO CLASS due to BurlyCon!) The cost is $110 for the 8-week session, or $15 drop-in.

Wholly revamped and geared towards Seattle’s next level of burgeoning talent!
Amp up your game! Go deep and work with your peers to develop your performance skills to a new level and expand your repertoire! Open to active performers who have already taken BQ101 or have performed regularly for 1 year. Course includes: Four 3-hour intensive classes facilitated by award-winning instructor Elsa Von Schmaltz; Six (6) Intermediate-level classes with Sailor St. Claire, Kitty Baby, Fuchsia Foxx, Waxie Moon, and Ruby Mimosa; Fully staffed Student Recital in West Hall, Oddfellows Building on November 22. Full tuition $499 includes all classes & final showing. Advance registration $449 if deposit paid by September 15. Mandatory group classes on Oct 20, Oct 27, Nov 10, Nov 17. Non-refundable $100 deposit required, goes towards total tuition.
BEGINNING BALLET WITH THE ONE AND ONLY INGA
Learn the basics of ballet in this fun class created specifically for burlesque performers! Instructor The One and Only Inga Ingenue will lead students through exercises designed to improve posture, balance, poise, and line. Comfortable, form-fitting attire and ballet shoes required. No dance experience required; drop-ins welcome! Tuesdays from 8-9pm, next session begins Oct 28. REGISTER HERE!
INTERMEDIATE BUMP & GRIND WITH THE ONE AND ONLY INGA
For students who have completed at least two 8-week sessions of Bump & Grind class (or have previous dance/performance experience) and are ready to hone their skills and learn more, more, more! Taught by qualified instructor The One The Only Inga Ingénue, this class will center on mastering Bump & Grind dance moves, learning complex choreography, and improving musicality, all while staying true to one’s own personal performance style. This is a great class to take in preparation for Burlesque/Boylesque 101 or 202, or if you just want to perfect your shimmy! All ages and bodies welcome. BOYLESQUE 101 6 WEEK PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
Learn to create your very own Boylesque routine under the tutelage of gender bending Boylesque sensation, Miss(ter) Waxie Moon and the Man, the Myth, the Mustache, Ernie Von Schmaltz! The same structure as Burlesque 101, but the curriculum is specialized for masculine/other gendered representations that Boylesque can be comprised of. Includes weekly private lesson. Create your very own Boylesque routine! Course fee includes Six group lessons, Five private lessons with Waxie Moon and or Ernie Von Schmaltz, Class 8×10, and a public graduation recital at the West Hall Theatre in the Oddfellows! After graduating, there will be a student potluck where you will watch the video of your performance and decompress with fellow students. Stay tuned for the next class dates.
