Inga Ingénue, “The Little Blonde Bomb”, has been an instructor with The Academy of Burlesque since 2009. Inga Ingénue, “The Little Blonde Bomb”, was recently crowned Miss Viva Las Vegas 2011 at the Viva Las Vegas international burlesque competition! Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Inga studied ballet, tap, jazz, modern dance and choreography for dance and theater starting at age three; since joining the Seattle burlesque community in 2005, Inga has performed in shows all over the world including the Burlesque Hall of Fame Competition in Las Vegas, the Amsterdam Burlesque Festival, Lily Verlaine & Jasper McCann’s “Land of The Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker” and “Through The Looking Glass: The Burlesque Alice in Wonderland”, in which she plays the lead role of Alice. In 2009, Inga co-founded DANCE BELT, Seattle’s burlesque/dance super-troupe, along with Waxie Moon, Lou Henry Hoover and Ruby Mimosa, with whom she also co-teaches pop-culture choreography classes at Century Ballroom. In 2010, Inga was the lead choreographer for the critically acclaimed U.S. run of “SHINE: A Burlesque Musical”, written and composed by Canadian musical duet The Wet Spots. Inga joined The Atomic Bombshells in 2011, one of the world’s most famous and respected burlesque troupes. In addition, Ms. Ingénue was featured in the burlesque documentaries “A Wink And A Smile” and “Waxie Moon”, as well as in the upcoming film “Waxie Moon in Fallen Jewel”.
